The exterior is crafted from high quality fiberglass and plastics, polished to a high-gloss finish. That surface is very smooth, which means wiping it down between sessions takes seconds rather than scrubbing.

Salt water alone will not keep a tank clean, so hygiene is handled on three fronts. The main filter is a custom built stainless steel enclosure holding a replaceable 10 micron filter bag, catching debris as small as a quarter of the diameter of a human hair. Water then passes a UV light array that deals with any micro-organism surviving the extreme salt content.

On top of that sits a dual chemical injection system, letting you run a combination of any two disinfectants you prefer, controlled by the pod's computer instead of by hand. Automatic dosing schedules cover chlorine and the UV light, and the filtration system kicks in automatically after each float.

Day to day upkeep is light. Remove the engine box and wipe around the pump components with a damp cloth soaked in warm water. Change the filter bag once or twice per month, top up salt once per month, and give the tank its regular morning wipe down before business.
